Lucy, Kit and Mimi are three girls who have recently graduated from high school. One is pregnant, one is engaged and one is a goodie two-shoes. The three of them decide to go on a road trip to Los Angeles, primarily inspired by Lucy's desire to head out there in search of a recording contract. As they are heading out, they meet up with a stranger named Ben. While he seems nice enough, they know little about him and they begin to wonder whether he might be dangerous. Suspicions and fears test their friendship, but they all learn a lot about themselves while seeing the country in all its glory. When they get to L.A., they must decide how they want their lives to proceed. |
