Overview
Alain is a jobless father and aspiring kickboxer in his twenties with a young son, looking to find an income in the town of Antibes in the southern part of France. He finds work as a bouncer in a nightclub, getting the phone number of an orca whale trainer named Stephanie in the process. Soon after they meet, Stephanie suffers a horrific accident during her show, eventually deciding to call Alain in a moment of despair. The resulting meeting establishes a relationship between the two that deepens and grows more complicated as they engage in casual intimacy and Alain continues to pursue other women.
