Overview
Andy Brewster is trying to market his organic cleaning product with no success. He lies to his mother, Joyce, telling her his latest sales pitch went well, in an attempt to get her off his back. Andy is forced to continue the lie in order to convince his mother to tag along on a road trip he has arranged to San Francisco to try to reconnect her with an old flame. Along the way, car troubles and more failed sales calls bring out lingering issues between Andy and Joyce, but the resolution they find in Las Vegas may be short-lived when Andy is forced to reveal the real reason for their road trip. The pair agree to continue to their destination, where each finds the luck they've been seeking in unexpected ways.
