Overview
Ralphie, the bespectacled boy who was so intent on getting a bb gun for Christmas, is five years older now, and he has his sights set on a bigger prize. Now, only a car will be enough to make this young man happy. Of course, that's not going to be any easier to acquire than a gun, and many obstacles lie in his path on his quest to get what he wants. Little brother Randy and their parents are back as well, and each has his or her own struggles to deal with as the holidays approach. One of the most prominent is the effort of the Old Man to avoid having to pay for a turkey by catching fish for the family's Christmas dinner.
