Overview
Joe Logan is a Native American of mixed blood who wants to bring his reservation into the 21st century. For permission to accomplish this, he needs to complete the work set before him by his father, the chairman of the tribe, who requests that he coach the high-school lacrosse team on the reservation. The boys play against privileged schools that consistently bring better equipment and training, but Joe is determined to drive them to overcome their deficits and push to the top of the league. As he stirs a sense of pride in the boys towards their rich heritage and focuses on maximizing each player's potential, the team builds upward momentum and establishes itself as a serious contender for the state championship title.
