After fooling police into believing his passenger is gravely ill, thus averting charges after a high speed chase, Driss reflects on this life with his closest friend Phillipe. Phillipe is a paraplegic, confined to a wheelchair following a paragliding accident. Driss has been hired to be Phillipe's caregiver, despite a lengthy criminal history. The men forge an unbreakable bond, although it is tested through events that unfold in each man's life. Driss tries to convince Phillipe to meet his long-time pen pal, Eleonore, which leads to emotional complications. When family demands conflict with Driss' responsibilities, Phillipe releases him from his commitment but nearly gives up on life when he is unable to find a suitable replacement. A close friend finally reunites to two men, who have learned much about life and love from one another. |
