Overview
Arn lives a life of privilege in medieval Sweden. His parents are nobility and he has been known to take advantage of his status in the society on more than one occasion. However, even his father determines that Arn's most recent forbidden love affair has crossed too many lines and his son must be punished. Arn's father decides to have his son educated in a monastery where he can learn about his crime and pay penance for what he has done. Upon leaving the monastery, Arn is dubbed as a Knight Templar and he is sent to the Holy Land to take part in several of the dealings that the Templar is involved in.
