Overview
Jamie is a 16 year-old boy, who lives with his mother, Elizabeth, and two brothers in the congested suburbs of Adelaide, Australia. He would like to escape the atmosphere of violence and misery, and the arrival of John in his home offers encouragement. John’s presence brings a sense of stability and protection that Jamie has never known. However, John has a dark side, and Jamie gradually drifts into some of John’s traits and secrets. As several family members and friends begin to disappear, Jamie begins to develop suspicions about John and his motivations. When Jamie finds out the truth about John, he is torn between his loyalty to him and the realization that he may be a participant in a series of grisly murders.
