Overview
G.G. Sparrow is the wife of the longtime choir director at a small church, and although she is deeply involved in the choir, the church decides to appoint a new leader in the wake of his death. The free-spirited G.G. doesn't get along very well with Vi Rose Hill, a rather stern and imposing woman who is raising a daughter and an autistic son. The choir is preparing for a national competition, and G.G.'s newly arrived grandson Randy is an excellent soloist. Though Vi Rose is reluctant to let him join the choir, she can't deny his talent. However, while Randy is a kind young man who is helping bring her son out of his shell, she is concerned abut his interest in her daughter.
