Overview
This horror thriller explores the grief felt by Eva Katchadourian, a former travel writer estranged from her husband, who must live with the fact that her sociopathic son, Kevin, killed numerous people following a rampage at his high school, as well as the remaining members of her small family. Her story is told in a series of flashbacks in which she recalls her struggle to understand the strange behavior that Kevin exhibits, which is only a foreshadowing of the tragedy he will inflict on numerous people when he takes a bow and arrow, kills his father and sister, and then continues to wreck mayhem on assorted students at the school after locking them in the gymnasium.
