Overview
Mavis Gray is a divorced 37-year old ghost writer. She is struggling to meet her deadline to complete the final book in a young adult series that is about to be cancelled. One day, a photo of the infant daughter of her high school flame, Buddy, arrives in her inbox. This changes everything for Mavis – to her it seems to be destiny that her and Buddy should be together. Mavis travels to her old town of Mercury, Minnesota to win Buddy back. Buddy being married and starting a family doesn't dissuade Mavis, but things become complicated when she reconnects with another former classmate.
