Conrad Johnson is a professor who changed the lives of students at an inner-city Harlem high school by turning the school's wobbly band into an impressive unit that easily displayed its musical prowess. None of the students who practiced their musicianship under him ever forgot it, and now, despite the distance that's developed, they have decided to come together again for a reunion concert to honor their beloved teacher, who is now 92 years old. |
