The apocalyptic dreams experienced by Curtis LaForche has him doubting his sanity. For some reason he dreams about harmful rain that resembles yellowish motor oil. While he hides his dreams from wife, Samantha, and daughter, Hannah, Curtis sets about building a family storm shelter for protection. Curtis plunges the family into debt and risks losing his job as he obsessively focuses on building the shelter. Curtis accidentally overdoses on medication, which finally forces him to reveal his dreams to Samantha. Curtis loses his job prompting Samantha to insist he see a professional psychiatrist. Perhaps he is schizophrenic like his mother. The shelter provides the family with refuge during a real tornado warning. The storm passes. During a family vacation, his worst fears begin to come true. |
