Overview
All Ralphie wants for Christmas is a Red Ryder BB Gun. Unfortunately, he is encountering resistance in this request as everyone thinks it is a bad idea, he'll put his eye out. Along the way, Ralphie must be a good kid, because bad kids don't get what they want for Christmas. After a series of mishaps, including getting his tongue stuck to a frozen pole, Ralphie gets the gun for Christmas. When he goes outside to play with it, he injures himself, and must convince his mother it was an icicle and not the gun. Christmas becomes a fiasco after the neighbor's dog steals the Christmas turkey off the kitchen table and they are forced to go to a Chinese restaurant for Christmas dinner.
