A young woman, Alison, becomes lost with her friends in a deserted Midwestern town. Eventually, they are taken by some children to the leader of a cult that Alison's brother Jacob is a part of. While Jacob rejects her initially, saying that he is about to be a father with his wife Lily, he then makes it clear that he wants help escaping. Luke and another of the leaders, Ezekiel, try to force Jacob to be their human sacrifice to the god of the corn. Alison and her friends get help from the sheriff and firefighters, but nearly everyone but Alison is killed. Lily survives as well and gives Alison hers and Jacob's child to raise. The child appears to be possessed. |
