Overview
In 1327, monks at a Benedictine abbey take a mysterious death as a sign that the Apocalypse is coming. A Franciscan monk, William of Baskerville, is set to the task of determining the cause of the mysterious death at the abbey. William is led into an ever deeper pit of intrigue and danger as he moves closer to the truth. At the same time, more deaths are occurring. Soon, the threat of the Holy Inquisition is hanging over William as he comes closer to unraveling the mystery. He and his assistant must race to find the truth before they are brought before the Inquisition.
