Overview
Rugal Bernstein is the kind of warrior who wants absolute power. While living in Boston, he learns of three relics that can force an ancient spirit named Orochi to grant the relic holder limitless powers. The Orochi allows the relic holder to determine if the powers will be used for good or evil. Bernstein decides to steal the relics which consist of a mirror, a necklace, and a sword. Rugal steals the relics and sets out to gain ultimate power. But his adventure is delayed when it is revealed that the sword is not authentic. Meanwhile, a girl named Mai is told about the relics and she is told that it is her destiny to find the real sword and defeat Rugal.
