Overview
Conner and Murphy are Irish brothers living in Boston. They attend Mass before setting out to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. During the Mass, the priest talks about Kitty Genovese who was killed in the 60s. During her murder, her neighbors or saw the murder occurring and did nothing about it. Later at the bar with their friends, they get into a fight with a few Russian mobsters. Even after trying to resolve it peacefully, the mobsters force the MacManus brothers to fight. The next day, the Russians return to exact their revenge on the brothers who kill the Russians in self-defense. The police and neighbors hail the two as heroes. The police release them calling it self-defense, but FBI agent Smecker has his eye on the brothers. Conner and Murphy decide to rid Boston of all wicked and evil that is occurring in their neighborhoods with Smecker hot on their trail.
