Overview
A vicious dog has taken away the thing that mattered most to Irish couple Patrick and Louise - their 9-year-old daughter, Alice. Reeling from her brutal death, the bereaved parents decide to move to a village called Wake Wood in which they discover a disturbing ritual that could allow them to actually spend another three days with their girl. Faced with trepidation and excitement, the couple eventually relents on their misgivings and agrees to perform the ritual with the village's mayor. Haunting questions remain as to what Patrick and Louise will do when the three days are up and Alice has to return to the other side.
