Overview
John Milton breaks out of Hell in an attempt to save his granddaughter following the murders of his daughter and her husband. The child is due to be sacrificed at midnight in three days by the same Satanic cult that lured Milton's daughter into their midst. As he travels toward Stillwater, an abandoned prison in Louisiana which is to be the site of the ritual, Milton rescues Piper from her abusive boyfriend. In exchange, she agrees to go with him to Stillwater. Along the way, they realize that they are being trailed by The Accountant, one of Satan's operatives, who is tasked with preventing Milton from stopping the sacrifice and returning him to Hell. When The Accountant realizes what Milton is doing, he decides to join forces with him to save the baby from the madmen preparing to kill her.
