Overview
This is the true story of Texas con man Steven Russell, who wakes up after surviving a major car crash convinced he is homosexual and determined to shake up his married life. He begins stealing in order to pay the bills on his new lifestyle and is eventually sentenced to prison. There he meets a man named Phillip Morris, who he believes is the love of his life. His romantic feelings for Morris inspires Russell to escape not just once but four separate times from jail. He also continues to concoct a series of con jobs, all designed to rescue his new love from a life behind bars.
