Overview
After fighting in the Crusades, two knights desert the cause and begin traveling home. While traveling, the pair are recognized as knights and taken to a Cardinal. The Cardinal promises them pardon for deserting if they take an accused witch to a monastery which houses an elite sect of monks who can rid the witch of her power. Several supernatural events convince the knights and their traveling companions that their cargo is, in fact, a witch. When they reach the monastery, they find all of the monks have died. They also discover that the witch is actually a woman possessed by a demon bent on destroying an artifact at the monastery. Loosing many lives, the traveling companions exorcise the demon and save the artifact.
