There is warmth, humor and sentimentality in this tale of two youngsters who forge a bond as second graders. Juli is immediately smitten with Bryce, who isn't so sure he is ready for a girlfriend just yet. But the two keep running into each other, especially since they live across the street from each other and attend the same school.
