Overview
A struggling writer, Jack, finds work through his shady father's connections as a croupier and his life begins to tumble out of control. He loses his girlfriend when she learns about a one-night stand he had with a co-worker and one of the gamblers, Jani, persuades him to help out as an inside man for a robbery by claiming her creditors will harm her if she does not pay them. Jack goes through with it, but it does not go smoothly. After the robbery, Jack publishes a book about his experiences working as a croupier, but it fails to bring him any satisfaction.
