Overview
Ryden Melby thought she had her life planned out while she was in high school. Get a scholarship to college so she could get a degree and escape the poverty and dysfunction of her childhood. She graduates with a degree in English and looks forward to a job as an assistant editor at a publisher. When her enemy in school wins the job instead of her, she is forced to move back home with her dysfunctional family and find a different way out. The only thing that keeps her sane is her friend Adam, but he has a secret crush on her that she knows nothing about.
