This comedy tale focuses on the newly opened doors of the health spa in Battle Creek, Michigan launched in the early 20th century by Dr. John Harvey Kellogg, inventor of the cereal which bears his name. A host of wealthy patrons flocks to this spa in order to undergo a number of embarrassing health procedures involving enemas that promises assorted health benefits. If Dr. Kellogg could be considered one of the country's first health nuts, his well to do clients seem equally crazy for a variety of reasons, ranging from sexual obsession to greed and obsessive-compulsive disorders.
