Overview
Paul Kersey has developed a reputation among law enforcement in New York for being a vigilante. Instead of arresting Kersey, the cops in New York City ask him to leave. Kersey takes his daughter to Los Angeles, where she intends to heal from the New York City attack that made Kersey a vigilante in the first place. While walking along with his daughter and his new love interest, Kersey is attacked by a gang. Kersey manages to fight off the gang, but the gang leader wants revenge for Kersey's actions. The gang visits Kersey's home, but he and his daughter are out. They viciously attack and kill Kersey's housekeeper, which sets off a chain of events that brings back the vigilante in Kersey.
