Overview
Montgomery Brewster lives as a struggling minor league pitcher with a bleak future until he learns that a distant, wealthy relative leaves him a fortune in his will. All Brewster has to do to secure the $300 million is pass a simple test: spend $30 million in 30 days without having any assets to show for his spending spree at month's end. Oh, and he can't tell anyone about the conditions of the will. When he starts spending, everyone thinks him crazy. Despite the pressure to spill his secret and the meddling antics of two will executives who want to see him fail, Brewster perseveres, coming up with creative ways to blow through $30 million and managing only to have the shirt on his back when his time is up.
