Overview
The financial crisis in agriculture is driving an Iowa family farm into bankruptcy. The husband and wife owners of the farm find their personal and professional lives falling apart as the prospects of their operation grow worse each day. The husband drinks too much, becomes abusive and falls into a depression. His wife is determined to stay strong, however. She wants to fight the system, fight the banks and stay on the land, which has been in her family for generations.
