Overview
Hannah Nefler loves her girl scout troop because it is a reprieve from her exasperating mother, Phyllis. After a divorce from Hannah's father, Phyllis decides that she needs to find some value in herself and daughter. She volunteers to be Hannah's troop leader. The only problem with this strategy is Phyllis's demeanor. Coming from a Beverly Hills, California background, Phyllis excels at shopping, not camping. She decides to help Hannah's rich troop learn about the wealthy way of life. With merit badges on diamond inspection, other troops are not as keen about Phyllis's new troop activities. This Beverly Hills troop must compete with other groups for the coveted Jamboree trophy. With their heads held high, Hannah and her friends must fight for their right to be troop girls with the rest of the organization.
