Overview
In a power grab gone hilariously awry, the acting director of the CIA feeds his would-be usurper, the deputy director, some false information about a contact who can destroy the deputy's charges of corruption against the director and save the director's job. The director's henchman randomly selects this 'contact' from the crowd arriving at the airport, sending the deputy director on a wild goose chase to seduce and neutralize the clueless title character, chosen by chance for his unusual and unfortunate choice of footwear. The deputy director sends his femme fatale agent to cozy up to this false contact, and the luckless man with one red shoe falls in love.
