Overview
Aaron Boone is subjected to odd dreams of a city known as Midian, a safe haven for monsters and outcasts. His girl friend, Lori, demands that he attends a session with a counselor. He agrees to go see Dr. Decker, a psychotherapist. Dr. Decker convinces Aaron that he is a dangerous serial killer, when in reality it is Dr. Decker who is the killer. After being injured in a car accident, Aaron overhears a discussion that Midian is indeed a real place. He escapes to find the city hidden beneath a graveyard. After being rejected and bitten by one of the monsters, he is killed by a police officer and returns to life in the morgue due to the mystical properties of the bite. It is up to Aaron to join the monsters in Midian, and to help them escape from the cruelty of Dr. Decker.
