Viktor Taransky is a movie producer who desperately needs a hit to bring back his career. He starts filming when he believes will be the movie that will bring him back into the spotlight when his leading lady suddenly quits. Taransky is so obsessed with his production that he creates an animated character named Simone to replace the starlet who walked off the set. When the movie is released, it does become a hit and the world falls in love with Simone. But when it comes time to reveal that Simone was computer generated, Taransky decides that it may be best if everyone continues to think she is real. Taransky's fantasy world is about to collide with reality and he may not like the outcome. |
