Overview
The Holroyd's are a hip couple living in a trendy California neighborhood. Kate and Harvey have one daughter, Joanie, and are trying balance personal needs with the pressure to maintain their marriage. Kate is into new age spirituality while Joanie is gravitating towards a cult. Meanwhile, Harvey struggles to get a promotion at his company. Eventually, the couple's personal problems lead to a separation. Harvey hooks up with a 19-year old vegetarian cashier. Kate finds new love with Argentinian aspiring artist, Paco, who is anything but career-oriented. Joanie joins the cult thinking she's finally getting the happiness she seeks, but in reality, it is more of a prison. To save their daughter, Harvey and Kate make peace. Harvey and a motorcycle gang go after Joanie.
