Overview
Upon the death of famed composer Ludwig van Beethoven, his secretary and long time friend, Anton Schindler, finds an unsent love letter addressed to Beethoven's "Immortal Beloved". After reading the impassioned letter, Schindler is determined to find out the identity of his late master's mysterious love. The investigation leads him deep into the intricate life of Beethoven as he uncovers the late composer's myriad love affairs and the reason behind his compulsive and controlling relationship with his nephew.
