High school is difficult to maneuver if you don't have your best friends with you. Sasha, Jade, Chloe and Yasmin are freshmen, and are looking to fit in with the other kids. Although they have been best friends for many years, the girls succumb to peer pressure and join separate cliques. Two years pass with the girls in separate social circles, including cheerleading, science, soccer and journalism. With fate on their side, they are coincidentally placed into the same detention period after misbehaving one day. They reconnect instantly, and decide to break the everlasting social circles. The girls team up against head girl, Meredith. Through several social gatherings, including Meredith's sixteenth birthday, the four friends must slowly convince the other kids that socializing outside their clique is healthy and a popular thing to do. |
