Overview
This 1994 remake of the original "Lassie" focuses on the Turner family who are anxious to leave the congestion and stresses of life in the city behind as they make a move to a more rural environment in Virginia. Their son, Matt, however, feels especially lost in his new surroundings, but is helped to adjust when a collie who happens to be homeless comes into the family's lives. Not only does the dog teach Matt a lesson or two about the importance of loyalty, he also saves him from drowning in a waterfall and being attacked by a lone wolf, proving that there is no better friend for a boy than his dog.
