Overview
The Grinch hates Christmas because of a traumatic event in his childhood. He left the town of Whoville and lives in the mountains alone, except for his dog Max. Cindy Lou Who sees through his facade of meanness and tries to bring him back to Whoville. When the Grinch reconnects with his childhood crush, now the mayor's girlfriend, things get complicated. He reverts back to his old personality and steals the material things of Christmas from the Whos. When Christmas arrives without all the material trappings, the Grinch's heart grows and he returns their things and joins the Whos in celebration.
