Overview
Three separate timelines are linked together by one man's search for a cure for death. 21st-century doctor Tom Creo struggles night and day to cure his wife Izzi from a terminal disease. All the while, she spends her final days writing a story about a 16th century conquistador in search of the tree of life. He hopes to save Queen Isabella from certain death at the hands of the Spanish Inquisition. In the year 2500, Tom, who has prolonged his death by means of the tree of life, travels to a distant dying star in an effort to reverse the loss of his loved one throughout the ages.
