Overview
A depressed teen by the name of 'Lane Mayer' decides that suicide is the only answer when his girlfriend, Beth, ditches him for a boorish jock who skis. Lane's failed attempts at killing himself only leave him in even more agony and embarrassment, however, as he simultaneously deals with family crises, his mother's disgusting cooking, weird neighbors, and homicidal paper boys. All of this and a beautiful French girl named Monique eventually lead up to the skiing race of a lifetime, giving Lane a chance to get his old girlfriend back!
