Overview
Mud’s parents desperately want him to go to camp this summer, but Mud hates summer camp! He would do anything to get out of it, and soon realizes that his group of friends are facing the same dilemma with their parents. Together, the cluster of kids hatch a plan to fool their parents into sending them to a fake camp of their own making – a parent-free paradise where they can do absolutely anything. After blackmailing their former drama teacher to help them, the youngsters launch a mission to make the summer camp genuine and realistic to pass off to their parents. As each kid’s fake camp emerges, parents are told that they’re not allowed to visit. Young love blossoms, weeks of fun are had, and friendships grow stronger! At least until their parents start showing up.
