Overview
Claire Cooper lives a normal life as the wife of an airline pilot and mother to two children. But Claire has disturbing dreams. In one, she sees a child from her neighborhood being kidnapped and murdered. Her dream becomes a terrifying reality when the very thing happens to her daughter, who becomes the latest victim of a serial killer named Vivian Thompson. Claire is tortured even more when she discovers that she can see Thompson's next victims in her dreams. She tries to explain her visions of Thompson to the authorities, but no one believes her. Her frustration eventually leads to a nervous breakdown. Claire is committed to an institution but her dreams continue, and she has no way of stopping Thompson from killing again.
