Overview
A hard-working African American woman named Kenya has a wonderful career. Unfortunately, she has a nonexistent personal life. When her friends convince her to let go of her ideal life, she agrees to go on a date with a landscaper named Brian. She abruptly ends the date when she sees that Brian is white. They coincidentally meet again at a party. Kenya decides to hire him to do some gardening around her house. The two of them find themselves growing closer. As they get closer, she continues to struggle with the prejudices they face because of their different races.
