Overview
Terry Griffith is smart, ambitious and gorgeous. She enters a newspaper contest to become a summer intern, but her article is rejected by her teacher. Terry knows her article is better than the winner's piece, and she believes she was passed over because of her gender. Furious, she goes undercover at a neighboring school so she can resubmit an article in that district. She transforms herself into a boy, and hilarity, drama and romance are the results. Terry must keep an overeager female admirer at bay while she fights developing feelings she has for her new best friend, Rick. She lives a double life as she juggles a jealous boyfriend, an interfering brother, vacationing parents, bullies, and the best journalism article she has ever written.
