Overview
Ash is back! Discount retail housewares department employee Ash Williams, who faced off against and survived evil in The Evil Dead and Evil Dead II, is thrust back in time to 1300 A.D. Although the locals initially think he's an enemy and take his gun and chainsaw, a trial by combat makes them believe that he's a savior spoken of in ancient prophecy and agree to return him to his own time period if he retrieves a book known to chase away evil called the Necronomicon Ex-Mortis. Yet, Ash forgets part of the spell designed to help him retrieve the book and unleashes darkness and evil in the form of a Deadite version of himself and a skeleton army.
