Overview
Arthur is an awkward, gangly boy living in England centuries ago. He lives with the brutish but still somewhat kind Sir Ector and his loutish bully of a son. He aspires to be a squire, but then he meets Merlin, a wizard who has been to the future, and his life takes a remarkable turn. Merlin decides that Arthur needs an education, and he begins to train him by turning him into various animals and allowing him to experience life from their perspective, thus heightening his empathy. Merlin, who lives with his pet owl Archimedes, knows that there is something very special about Arthur, but he doesn't have an easy time getting the boy to see it. Soon, though, the whole world will know it.
