Overview
Teenage genius Mitch Taylor has been accepted to Pacific Tech, where he becomes friends with his roommate, Chris Knight, who has a penchant for pulling off complicated practical jokes. Gradually the serious-minded Mitch is taught the value of enjoying life by the easy-going Chris. The duo clash with professor Jerry Hathaway, who is continually pressuring the pair as they work on an assignment to develop a powerful laser beam. What Mitch and Chris don't know is that Hathaway has his own secret reasons for pushing the pair to finish their project. When they find out his real motives, Mitch and Chris decide to get revenge by pulling off the king of all pranks.
