Overview
Arnold and his best friend Gerald love their neighborhood and have many adventures there, but now its existence is threatened by a greedy developer. Mr. Scheck has every intention of bulldozing Arnold's house and every other house and store in the immediate area so that he can build an industrial mega-shopping complex. It might seem like to big a project for a kid to take on, but Arnold won't let his beloved neighborhood go down without a fight. Together with Gerald and a couple of mysterious allies, he formulates a plan to bring down the bad buy. It will require retrieving some secret writings, a task that won't be easy, but these friends will do whatever it takes to keep things the way they are.
