Trailer | Overview Jerry Lee Lewis was unquestionably one of the most talented but controversial rock stars of the 1950s. His incredible talent with the piano led to such hits as Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin On and Great Balls of Fire. However, he had little discipline and even less regard for what the public thought of him. Jerry created considerable public scorn when he married his 13-year-old cousin, Myra. He was even run out of England when this marriage was discovered. Jerry’s cousin, Jimmy Swaggart, tries to keep him out of trouble and encourages Jerry to become a decent husband and not resort to abuse and alcoholism. However, this was not to be, and Jerry’s life is one of constant struggles and conflicts brought on by his arrogance. |
