The movies is divided in a trilogy of horrors stories. First, the leader of a Native American tribe near a small Arizona town gives the tribe’s jewels to the owner of the local store as collateral against the tribe’s debts to the store. That night, three young punks steal the jewels, murder the store’s owner, and drive away. But they have something to learn about the store’s mascot, a wooden statue of an Indian chief. Second, four teenagers take to a raft on a lake to do some partying. They discover what appears to be an oil slick floating on the lake. However, the “oil slick” turns out to be something much more horrifying. Third, a woman in a hurry to reach the airport runs over a hitchhiker with her car. She doesn’t stop to help the victim she left behind. Or did she really leave him behind?
